Here's where we started, and also the hardest part of the walk:

What we wanted to see and our favourite part of the walk:

Alexandra Arch:
HortPark, where we ended the walk:
There's a final part of the Southern Ridges walk which connects to Kent Ridge from the HortPark. But strangely, we didn't see anymore signs in the HortPark to point you to Kent Ridge. There's a restaurant in HortPark itself but the drinks there costs more than if you had gone Fullerton Hotel. We had also run out of coins to buy drinks from the vending machine so we called it a day.

edp junkie - it is nice. :) only the first part of the walk up mt faber is tough, the rest is fairly level or downhill. Took us about two hours which is manageable.
SL - heh.. there's only so many movies that one can watch.
