The Start of the 31st

I was just playing around in the shops and randomly commented what a nice hat it was. It reminded me of this:

And the man got the hat for me for my 30th birthday, together with a pair of cute ankle boots from one of my favourite stores, Muji, and a box of Godivas. All these, after a most lovely meal of steak frites and brownie at the Marmalade Pantry. I am most happy. It's a great start to the 31st year.

Beary Happy Birthday

"I want you to play the piano for me on my birthday." Well, he did - kind of. B composed a tune, played and recorded it on his digital piano, and put together a slide show with the photos we took together in Australia.

B's mum gave me this pendant, and a musical birthday card. Isn't it sweet of her?



And of course, I received many birthday wishes too. To all my well-wishers, thank you. You made my day too. :)
